Slough Creek Preview Video
We are still working on Episode 2: Slough Creek, finishing up the missions, polishing gameplay, and squashing bugs. We don't have a release date yet, but expect it to be in late November. In the meantime, check our new Slough Creek preview video for a taste of the exciting gameplay coming your way soon!
Art Contest Winners
In the last newsletter, we announced an art contest for people to help illustrate the different missions in WolfQuest: Slough Creek. After carefully reviewing all 120 submissions, we must say: We have some very talented and creative WolfQuest players! Thank you to everyone who submitted their artwork. It was a difficult decision, but we have selected four winners:
The Den, Chenneoue (A. L. Wagner)
Territory, ara-tun (R.L.W.)
Training Pups, Ratlover4194
The Pack, Windseeker (C. Wilson)
To see their work, please visit the art winners gallery. (

Episode 2 Live Q&A
Are you excited about the upcoming release of WolfQuest: Slough Creek? Because it is still over a month away, and because we have received a countless questions about it, we are going to hold a live Question and Answer session on the forums. WQ Coordinator, part of the WolfQuest Development Team, will be online on the forums for a couple hours on Saturday, October 24th, starting at 6:00pm US Central Standard Time, to answer some of your questions about Episode 2 (without giving away all of the surprises, of course). If you can't join us on that date, come by the forums later to catch up on the discussion. The Q&A will be in General WolfQuest Discussion, called Ask WQ Coordinator- the WolfQuest Live Q&A.

National Wolf Awareness Week
This, the third week in October, is the annual National Wolf Awareness Week. Educators and wolf supporters use this week to inform the general public about wolves and dispel the myths that are often associated with them. We encourage you to visit a Zoo or Wolf Center this weekend and to tell all of your friends about WolfQuest!
Help support WolfQuest - new store items!
As you know, WolfQuest is a free game, thanks to grants from the National Science Foundation, Best Buy, and a few other organizations who support our project. If you have enjoyed the game and the forums, you can help support the project either by making a donation or buying something from our store. If you've already purchased a t-shirt or made a donation, thank you. You'll be happy to see new items in our store now. We currently carry a wolf plush, a wolf plush magnet cling (great for lockers or desks, or even to wear as a bracelet!), and a set of wolf family toys. Every purchase helps support WolfQuest. Thank you for your support!
